Thank you for choosing us over porn today. Survivor: PREVIEW

SURVIVOR PREVIEW: OCTOBER 19, 2001

SCHROTH'S:
UCONN:
URI:
N'EASTERN:

PREVIOUS EPISODES

Welcome to Survivor: The New England Outback. Thirty-two will start out, only one will survive. Now don't think for a minute that the winner has already be dertermined, or I will be the one who will determine the winner. You, the Survivor competetors, will be voting out your friends and deciding who wins.

The game works like this: there are 32 people altogether, with Mr. Bobby Guerin as the host. The tribes are at Schroth's house, UConn, URI, and Northeastern. The tribes were chosen completely at random, with the exception that Chris had to be at his own house, Nash at URI, Andy at NU, and a UConn kid at UConn.

The episodes will be written by myself, and will just show funny stuff that is going on with each tribe. I welcome and encourage suggestions from all of you on what might happen within a tribe, both good and bad things, anything you can think of that's funny. For the first 8 weeks, there will be one tribe that earns immunity (which is randomly chosen and the story is written around that random pick), and one person from each of the other 3 tribes will be voted out. Again, all of you get to make 3 votes, whoever gets the most votes will be out. You can keep coming back to vote if you get voted out, too.

After 8 weeks, we'll be down to 8 people, and then only one person will get immunity and one other person will get voted out until there is only one person left.

All votes are completely anonymous, but there will be a guestbook/message board avaliable if you wish to say who you voted for and why, like the regular Survivor show. So if you're worried that you will make enemies in real life by voting for a friend in this silly game, you can rest assured that it's all anonymous, I will have no idea who votes for who unless you want to tell everyone.

Finally, you must remember that you have to have as much fun as possible doing this. If you want, talk to people over the internet, at school, on the phone, wherever, and form groups within your tribes or within the last 8 people to better your chances at winning.

If you're still confused about what is going on, you can just talk to me online (ivbenoit) or wait until the first episode comes out and you'll know what it's all about. Oh yeah, the first episode will be within the next few weeks, and they will posted online like a regular Survivor episode--at the same time every week. This time is tentatively 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and voting will be open probably through the weekend and will end Sunday at midnight or something. That's all for now, take it easy and keep it real.
